Jerry & Nadine Lutry harbor snowWith the ending of 2010 making way for the start of a new beginning in 2011, I see as always a strong connection between my personal and professional life. While I work on my IMD presentation “Highly Relational Engagement of Stakeholders is critical for Value Creation and Competitiveness: Bridging Leaders as Key Catalyists” and I am sending holiday season missives around the world, I am aware of all the many ways I continue to sustain connections.  Today’s entry simply is to say how much I value being connected with you!

Good to hear from you Nadine, regards to Naane and Kofi next time you see them.

I’ve been a bit preoccupied… two book projects on the backburner while we get a 100 pine tree out of the roof of the house!
    Merry Xmas, Happy New Year.

Nadine- Your shoulders are not as big as your heart, but they sure are strong. As you have taught me, there are limits to what one person can do, but never limits to what we can do together. Here’s to praying hard and working tirelessly for worldwide health and peace in the year to come.

Wishing you and your family a joyous holiday season.

Nadine: Great to hear from you and love seeing the photos! Like you, I find the end of the year is a great time to reflect on what’s been accomplished, where we’ve fallen short and setting ambitious goals to take on for the new year. For me, it’s been extremely fulfilling to coach college grads and help them win their first career offers or gain admissions to renown grad schools. Most recently, one of my students was accepted into Stanford’s MBA program (she is a college senior now). Such a great feeling to help these young people launch their professional dreams! I’m writing a book to reach more students, but have fallen short of finishing it this year. That’s one of my major goals for 2011. I’m sure you can relate, since you have a book you want to write as well. Wishing you a Happy, Healthy and Successful 2011 . . .
Let’s take it to the next level!

    Dear Nadine,
We are thinking of you often here in New York. So glad to hear that you are flourishing during your time in Switzerland. As I finish out the year, I’ve finally left the world of the global conglomerate, and started a boutique investment firm with three partners, and feeling much greater alignment between my values and my work. Your comment about the interconnectedness of the personal and professional really ring true.
Sending you all of the best wishes for 2011, and big big hugs!
    Love,
    Nili

Great to hear from you Nadine – love the snowy picture from Switzerland. The title of your latest presentation at IMD, “Highly Relational Engagement of Stakeholders is critical for Value Creation and Competitiveness: Bridging Leaders as Key Catalyists” piqued my interest as I apply for Executive MBA programs and contemplate business leadership for the future. I’d love to hear more about your presentation if you post more!
Love & warmest holiday wishes to you & your family from the winterwonderland of Toronto, Canada,
